Quality, safety & compliance
Soft toys sold to children are regulated in every market we ship to. A failed test at destination costs far more than doing it properly here, so we build to your market’s standard from the first sample and document it.
Standards we build to
EN71-1 / -2 / -3
European toy safety: mechanical and physical properties, flammability, and migration of specific elements.
ASTM F963 & CPSIA
United States consumer safety, including lead and phthalate limits and tracking label requirements.
AS/NZS ISO 8124
Australia and New Zealand toy safety, aligned with the ISO 8124 series.
REACH & Prop 65
Restricted substances screening for EU and California-bound shipments on request.
Third-party testing
We arrange testing with SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek on request, and send the report with your shipping documents. If your buyer nominates a different lab, we work with theirs.
Quality control on the floor
Golden sample control
Your approved sample stays on the production floor and every batch is compared against it.
Inline inspection
Checks after cutting, after embroidery and after closing, so a fabric or stitch problem never reaches the whole run.
Needle detection
Every finished piece passes through a metal detector before packing — non-negotiable for children’s products.
Pull testing
Eyes, noses and attached parts are pull-tested to the standard your market requires.
AQL 2.5 final inspection
Standard final inspection level, with your own inspector or a nominated agency welcome on site.
Documentation pack
Test reports, declaration of conformity, packing list and commercial invoice supplied with every shipment.
Confidentiality and your IP
We sign an NDA before you send artwork. Your designs, patterns and moulds are used only for your orders, are never shown to other customers, and are never listed in a public catalogue. We only manufacture licensed characters when you can show written authorisation from the rights holder.
